Job Seekers FAQ’s

How much does it cost?

Our services are completely free to candidates. As a job seeker, all you need to do is register, create a profile, and submit your resume. Once you’ve completed that process, your work history, skills, and interests become searchable in our database and we will contact you as we find roles that best match your qualifications.

What kind of candidates are you looking for?

Treehouse Partners specializes in placing job seekers in fulfilling, flexible, challenging roles from senior-level staff on up to the “C Suite”. We place into a variety of business functions, including strategy, marketing, accounting, sales, finance, legal, HR, and operations.

How does the process work?

Once you’ve completed your profile here, keep an eye on our recent job postings and apply to roles that look like they may be a match. We review every resume that’s submitted for every job, and will reach out to you directly to schedule an interview if we agree that you are a fit for the position. We try to keep the status of the searches up-to-date on the site, so keep an eye out there if you’re wondering what stage in the search we’re currently working on. There is no need to email or call us directly to inquire about the status of your application.

How long should I expect to wait to hear from you after I apply to a job?

As you can imagine, this varies from search to search, depending on, among other things, the client’s timeline, the volume of resumes received, and the length of the interview process. We may contact you within minutes of receiving your application, other times it can be a month or longer. We commit to letting everyone know one way or another at some point… but can’t guarantee a specific window for any given search.

I have a different resume and a cover letter I’d like to submit for a specific job… how do I do that?

You can upload multiple files to your profile on If you have multiple versions, please label your resumes and cover letters by the job you’d like it considered for, for example: J_Smith_Accounting Manager, J_Smith_Controller.
