Senior Forensic Accountant for an Economic Consulting Firm

Our client is a forensic economic consulting firm with extensive experience in areas such as personal injury, wrongful death, and business litigation. They are seeking a Senior Forensic Accountant to add to their growing team.  This is a full-time role and ideal for an individual who is looking to be challenged through a leadership role.  There is strong potential for this role to turn into a partner-level position within a few years for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and investigate financial statements and other accounting documentation for a wide variety of clients

- Value closely-held businesses and income for clients 

- Manage individual cases when necessary, providing superior client service and business development skills

- Investigate legitimacy of information provided by clients

- Prepare declarations, working files and reports to summarize findings

- Provide mentorship and training to team of more junior forensic accountants

- Serve as an expert witness in client matters as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree

- 5-7 years Forensic Accounting experience required

- CPA license, preferred

- Experience in a public accounting firm, a plus

- Experience with client services

- Comfort and proficiency at expert testimony, a plus… desire to grow that skill-set a must!

- Must be detail-oriented, ethical, organized and have excellent problem solving and communication skills

- Ability to interface professionally with clients
